Dr. Tiffany W. Alexander

Dr. Tiffany Wright-Alexander joined the staff of North Oconee High School in the Fall of 2012 as a Business and Computer Science Teacher and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) advisor.

 

Prior to her arrival, Tiffany held several teaching and leadership positions. She has held positions as Computer Science Teacher, Business Education Teacher, Cisco Networking Instructor, CTAE Director, 9th Grade Academy Director, and 21st Century Community Learning Center (BEST Program) Site Coordinator.

 

Dr. Alexander serves as the advisor for the North Oconee High School student organization, FBLA. Each year, NOHS FBLA is recognized as Chapter of the Year. Each year students place at the region and state level. Students have advanced to and competed at the national level over the years. The Business & Computer Science program at NOHS received its initial industry certification in Spring of 2014 and was re-certified in Spring 2019. 

 

Tiffany is a member of several professional and community service organizations. She is an active member of Georgia Business Education Association (GBEA), Georgia Association of Career & Technical Education (GACTE), Association of Career & Technical Education (ACTE), and the National Business Education Association (NBEA). Tiffany has received recognition as chapter member of the year because of her continuous service to the community.  She has served as president of the graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in Athens, GA. 

 

Dr. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA, a Master of Science and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Troy State University in Phenix City, Alabama.  Tiffany obtained a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Argosy University in Sarasota, FL. She has worked in the field of education for over 25 years.
